Why can't I see the camera streams?
This is probably a java client issue. You will need to make sure you have the latest java plug-in updates. NOTE: A lot of XP disks do not enable or install java by default. Some dispute between Sun and Microsoft. By installing the latest service packs and java upgrades you should be fine.

You will also need to make sure you have installed your current service pack for your operating system. You may need to do this before installing the newer version of java. IF you continue to have installation problems with the java upgrade and can't resolve them via uninstall/reinstall You will have to uninstall your browser, reboot, then reinstall your browser and then likewise reinstalling the java plug-in. Also, upgrade your browser to it’s current version. This may solve a lot of other little issues your browser currently faces. Also, make sure your firewall isn’t blocking us as well as an over zealous anti- virus protector. Allow cookies and check your Internet security privileges in your browser settings. If you are at work… you may have to talk to your network administrator about allowing certain types of connections associated with Internet displays.
AOL USERS: Depending on what version of AOL you are running you might find it difficult to use the AOL interface for our feeds. We highly recommend that you minimize the AOL browser after connecting. Then use Internet Explorer (the big blue 'e') that can usually be found on your desktop or in your program files. If you have problems with that, then refer to the advice above as well.

Do any of the cams have sound?
We do in fact have windows media steaming sound and cameras. They are only available to direct members of our websites, VoyeurDorm.Com and DudeDorm.Com.

Why is my favorite camera down?
We apologize for any inconvenience. We are always battling cams that go down and try to replace them no matter where they are in the world. However, sometimes it takes time to get these matters resolved. We beg for your patience and assure you that we are trying to handle the matter as promptly as we can.

Why are my cam views so slow and inconsistent?
This might be due to distance or your Internet connection. The speed of the streams depends on your Internet connection and net congestion in general. Cable/DSL connections generally receive 3-5fps (frames per second) where your dial up may only get 1-3fps. Your operating system and processing may also be factors if they are Pentium 2 or less. (Celleron and AMD equivalents as well) You may also have a program or process that is hogging your CPU and this too could effect the flow and keep the browser from functioning at the height of it's capacity. We offer 'fast cams' in windows media format that include sound. This can be utilized by cable/DSL connections only. However, we do offer sound streams as well and dial up connections are able to combine this with the java cam streams. Also note: Some of the cameras are a bit slower than others give or take 1 or 2 frames a second. Also, many programs running at the same time may tax your browser's ability to move the images. Every once and a while net congestion will cause this problem and in that case it will resolve itself.

Why isn't chat working?
Check and make sure firewall(s) are not preventing your installation prompt or the java installation itself. Also, if you are going through a proxy and another computer behind the same proxy is already connected...this may cause issues with our security. Sexy chat on Voyeurdorm is not free. If you do not already have it and wish to upgrade, please follow the join links and sign up. There you will receive a separate user/pass for sexy chat. Our chat room is java based and you may need to follow the java plug-in instructions detailed in the first FAQ post. Once you are in the chatroom, all you have to do is type your message and hit enter on your keyboard to be part of the fun. Fun is the keyword here. If you are misbehaving or causing disruption in what is otherwise a fun place, you can expect to be kicked out or even banned in some circumstances. So behave and enjoy a pleasant experience.

What do the direct members of DudeDorm.com and VoyeurDorm.com get that I don't?
Direct members of VoyeurDorm.Com and DudeDorm.Com get access to a larger camera selection. We also offer windows media streams with sound! As well as more cams available there are downloadable movies and even picture gallery content of all of our models. We have tons of links to other hot sites as well as other affiliated sister sites. Why doesn't this work on my WEBTV (or other variants of this service)?
Sorry for any inconvenience but we are not webtv compliant.

How do I cancel?
You will need to go to the front page of the site you signed up on and click their billing link. Give them as much account information you can EXCLUDING credit card information.

Why should I need to clear my Cache?
Sometimes changes are made to the site but your browser is trying to save you page load time by storing cached or stored information. Sometimes you need to reload a fresh copy of that particular page in order to be up to date or remedy some type of temporary problem your browser may be causing. If you are using Internet Explorer then open your browser to an irrelevant page. Then please click on tools>Internet options> there will be a 'ring' that says temporary Internet files. Click on DELETE COOKIES. You will be prompted 'Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder?' or something similar. Click OK. Then click on DELETE FILES. You will be prompted ' Delete all Files in the Temporary Internet Files you can also delete all your offline content stored locally. Delete all offline content, Click the box leaving a checkmark and then click OK. Then go to the website again and sign in. If you are using Netscape then open your browser to an irrelevant page. Then please click on edit>advance>cache. The next will vary depending on which version of Netscape you are using. There should be two buttons that reference cache 'Memory' 'disk' caches. Click both of them and clicking 'OK' when prompted. Then go to the website again and sign in. If you still have the problem, go through these steps again then rebooting before signing back in. Then go to the website again and sign in. If this does not correct your problem, please note that we are probably already aware of the problem at hand if it is affecting more than yourself and it will be corrected as soon as possible. You may want to do this for your java client cache as well. You should be able clear the cache on your java client by utilizing links supplied by your browser after the java plug-in is installed. For instance, in IE, Sun Java's properties can be obtained under the tools menu of the tool bar.
